What we did

This week at VUXE

This week at VUXE

At VUXE we believe in transparency. We want to keep you, our users, in the loop about what we’re doing and what’s coming next.
Over the last few weeks at VUXE, we have been working on getting our app up and running. We’ve been prototyping designs and building out the initial users portion of our backend.
After we got our sign-in set up and working last week, we now needed to build the user profile storage into our backend, and this is exactly what we did. We are now able to take sign-ups via the backend’s authentication flow and will be shortly releasing a new app version with these features.

We had a bit of a creative block when trying to figure out how to lay out the registration flow. In order to get past this, we enlisted the help of Balsamiq – a wire-framing tool that allowed us to prototype our flow.

We’re now in the midst of building out the “profile” section of our app, where you will be able to add your details and information about your experience. We won’t expect a full CV, but we’d like to get a feel for who you are and what you’ve done when we present your profile to potential employers.

We’re committed to making the registration process as easy as possible, so that we can easily get you to the point where you want to be – finding jobs!

As always, one of the fundamental laws of the universe states that there will be bugs, and this week we fixed a few of them in our SEO and marketing images as well as within our beta app.

That’s all for now, folks. Stay tuned to find out about more VUXER goodness!
